Description
The Fruit Note Book Collection gives a second life to natural materials left behind after juice production. After apples are pressed, pulp and fibers remain. After mandarins are juiced, large quantities of peel are left behind. Made in Japan, each sketchbook combines recycled paper with approximately 20% fruit residue, transforming apple pomace or mandarin peel into beautifully textured paper for drawing, writing, and everyday creativity.

Small traces of apple fiber may be visible throughout the sheets, giving every page its own distinctive texture. A beautiful choice for anyone who loves warm, natural materials and the story of Japan’s apple-growing region.

Two covers, two ways to use each book
Each notebook features a double-sided cover. One side is designed for portrait use. Turn the notebook over, and the opposite side is designed for landscape use. This means you can begin from either direction depending on how you prefer to draw, write, or create.
Every page is naturally unique
Because the paper contains real fruit material, no two pages are exactly alike. You may notice:
- Natural variations in color
- Subtle differences in texture
- Visible fruit fibers or peel particles
These details are part of the material’s character and do not interfere with drawing or writing. Instead, they make every page feel a little different.
Made for drawing, writing, and creativity
Both sketchbooks open flat to approximately 180 degrees, making them comfortable to use across the full page. Each sheet can also be removed cleanly, so finished work can be displayed, shared, or kept separately.
Use them for:
- Drawing and coloring
- Sketching
- Crayon artwork
- Journaling
- Notes and ideas
- Creative studies
- Children’s art
- Food and nature education
They pair especially beautifully with Vegetable Crayons, Rice Wax Crayons, and Flower Crayons.
